Really, Is There Anything More to Say About 10/7?

What more can any of us write about 10/7?  I myself have written nearly forty or fifty articles on this subject, read every book on the subject and viewed most of the films about 10/7. My allies have done so as well. What more is there to say?

Well, plenty more.

For example, on October 5th, 2026, in the Jewish Review of Books, Matti Friedman--that most excellent of journalists--gave us a summary of a book by "Israel's most trusted analyst of military affairs." He was writing about Amos Harel's book O6:29, which has not yet been translated from the Hebrew. (Odessa Editions will publish an English version in the spring of 2027.) Friedman called the work a "staggering, infuriating and illuminating account of October 7 and its aftermath."

In short, Harel assigns misjudgment, failure, and responsibility to every level of Israel's military intelligence, including the Shin Bet, IDF's Chief of Staff, an unnamed intelligence officer, Israel's Minister of Defense, the Prime Minister. Everyone--absolutely everyone--tragically and fatefully "misread all signs of an imminent attack."

The well-funded, well-organized demonstrations of praise for Hamas kicked into action the very next day all around the world. Islamic, left-wing, and student activists were at it, supporting Hamas's barbarism as an "act of resistance against Israeli oppression." (This was massively funded by Iran, Qatar, and the likes of George Soros et al.)

Operationalizing the propaganda began before Israel finally went into Gaza to find the hostages and to disarm and/or eliminate Hamas. Individuals, on every continent, tore down the posters bearing the faces of Israeli hostages, yelled at and physically attacked visible Jews in the streets, locked down campuses wearing keffiyehs, face masks, hijabs. What’s worse, professors and high school teachers intensified brainwashing their students with Big Lies, such as Israel (but not Islam, not Iran) is a colonial power, bent on committing genocide in Gaza.

The other day, an old friend whom I knew when I lived in Park Slope visited--and she had the most chilling tales of what has been happening in the old hood:

"I went into a store on my corner where for years I'd been buying coffee and breakfast. This time, the Arab employee--with whom I'd never said more than ‘Hello, how are you?’--came out from behind the counter and pointed his finger at me, very menacingly shouting, ‘Jew, Jew, Jew killer.’ There was more, a lot more. When I told his boss, the boss shrugged and said, 'Well, he's a Palestinian. I can't do anything about this.’

"Suddenly there were stickers and graffiti up on so many of the multi-million-dollar brownstones that said, 'Free Gaza' or 'Down with Apartheid Israel.' I mean, more than ever before. Right across the street, where wealthy people and their almost adult children live, there was new and larger graffiti for Palestine. I went over at dawn, wearing a mask and a hooded jacket, and sprayed my own counter-graffiti: 'Free Palestine From Hamas.' By late afternoon, these privileged Jew-haters were trying to wash my graffiti away. They were in a rage.

"You see, I'm the child of Holocaust survivors. I know where such Nazi propaganda and mobs marching in the streets can and have always led."

Yesterday, I received a notice for a meeting that was to take place that very evening of October 6th in tony Westchester, New York. It was titled: "Westchester for Palestine." A minute afterwards, I received a notice from Ghent, Belgium, about a program about children "resisting colonial oppression.” A professor, Heidi Morrison, "will explore nearly a century of Zionist settler-colonial violence against Palestinian children culminating in the ongoing genocide in Gaza that has targeted 21,000 children by now."

Ms. Morrison should learn the colonial history of Belgium--for example in the Congo.

The truth and the facts simply do not register with the likes of Professor Morrison. Arab Muslims are the world's largest colonizers. From Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, Mohammed's soldiers conquered, colonized, and converted other countries in the Middle East, in Africa, and in Central and Far Asia. Muslims even conquered the Buddhist and pagan populations in Afghanistan(!).

Fundamentalist Muslim leaders practice both gender and religious apartheid, practice slavery, forcibly marry children to much older and polygamous men, forcibly face, head, or body veil women--and honor kill any girl or woman who is alleged to resist these practices. While there are exceptions, such radically fundamentalist Muslims have penetrated the West at every level, not to assimilate but in order to live on Western largesse, lead non-assimilated lives in dangerous and self-administered ghettos of their making.

There are not only chadors, burqas, niqab, and hijab on American and European streets--I have increasingly seen fashionable and often expensive hijab being offered for sale online and not described as "shawls" but as "hijabs."

I do not want to live in a Muslim country or under Muslim rule. I was once held captive in such a place and have taken the measure of what that's like and do not welcome it here.

Yes, I co-led a team that rescued 398 women from Afghanistan and chose one absolutely divine, beyond excellent young woman as my Afghan granddaughter.

Yes, I have Muslim and ex-Muslim friends and allies. We work together on supporting Israel and the West.

However, I also applaud all the efforts underway to unite infidels (dhimmis). For example, Richard Landes and Eli Gottesdiener have launched Infidel Awareness Month; Burmawi; Charles Jacob's Peace and Tolerance project coalition; the super reliable Middle East Forum. There are many more such ventures.

I am glad they are here, but even so, it is by now long after midnight. The lights have gone out, not only in Iran and Afghanistan, not only on Europe--they are going out in America and Canada as well.

There is a small art theater on the Upper West Side of NYC called the New Plaza Cinema. Guess what film they are showing this very weekend? None other than NAZA, a libelous, non-sourced, not-balanced film about Israel-in-Gaza made, of course, by two anti-Israel Israeli Jews. Take a look at who is listed as one of their advisors--none other than Susan Sarandon, that pro-Palestine, anti-Israeli maniac.

As to the anti-truth, anti-Israel demonstrations planned for today: According to Michael Goodwin in the New York Post, "Israeli officials have found (that) some 262 events are scheduled for (10/7) in 37 countries. The Jerusalem Post reports that 45 are to be held in the US, 40 in Spain, 21 in Australia, 19 in the United Kingdom, 16 in Italy, 14 both in Germany and Canada, 10 in France and 8 in the Netherlands. Significant numbers of the events are planned to take place close to offices of the Israeli government."

There is massive police protection outside synagogues in New York City. I can see just such a force right outside my own synagogue.

One tentative observation: These rancid demonstrations have been in the works for about fifty or sixty years (Soviet era, UN powered, bought and paid for by Iran, Qatar, various Arab groups, funded by left-wing Westerners, and given superb cover by Jewish and Israeli traitors). Their purpose is to terrify and intimidate Jews and pro-Israel/pro-Zionist supporters by drowning out the truth about 10/7; their purpose is, as ever, to once again cover the Jews with filthy lies and present Hamas as heroic resistance fighters, not as the depraved Nazi barbarians that they truly are.
