@Phyllischesler Promote Newflash! At Concordia U, an angry pro-Hamas mob assaulted peaceful students for displaying the faces of kidnapped Israelis. Deja vue. In 2002, on that same campus, friends, professors, were savagely beaten by Pro-Palestinian students. I wrote about this in my 2003 book "The New Antisemitism." On September 9, 2002, Bibi Netanyahu was scheduled to speak at Concordia University in Montreal. One thousand Palestinians and their supporters gathered. They screamed vitriolic hate, taunted, spat at, chanted, and physically and verbally harassed all those who had come to hear Netanyahu speak. The police canceled the event, having decided that they could no longer guarantee Netanyahu’s safety. Rioters physically assaulted some of the people hoping to attend the event, smashed a plate glass window and tossed furniture at the police. The protestors trashed the university. Ultimately, the riot police used tear gas and pepper spray to disperse them.
