Last night I gave a reading via zoom to the warmest and most wonderful of attendees. They asked the best questions—hard ones, thoughtful, and they said the kindest things about my work. Surprise guests (my granddaughters), family, friends, cherished colleagues were all there. This was a private event. Next week, on 11/17 there will be another more public reading and discussion which will feature Ann Osmond, the actress who read the audiobook for “Requiem.” I’ll be there too.

My team also held a Goodreads competition and, as promised, ten people won free copies of Requiem for a Female Serial Killer. Two hailed from California, and two from Illinois; all the others were from Florida, Tennessee, Indiana, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Alaska.
