Now is the hour and the Season of Very Big Lies, False Narratives, and Diabolical Deeds.

But now is also the time at which smart people are also fighting very hard vigorous to get the truth out and to defend all those entities which are shamelessly defamed, beginning with the Jewish state.

Harvard-educated Professor, Abraham (Avi) Bell, at the University of San Diego School of Law, has come up with an excellent suggestion concerning the unrelenting attempts among university professors and student bodies boycott, divest from, and sanction only Israel.

When challenged, said parties always say that “Anti-Zionism” is not anti-Semitism; that even Jews (!) view Israel in a critical-to-negative light; and that common morality demands that one “start somewhere.”

As we know, it always starts with the Jews….

Professor Bell has suggested the following: Every time a BDS proposal is introduced, the following amendment should be proposed (if necessary, call for a new vote after adoption of the BDS proposal, to have a vote on amending the text of the BDS proposal). The wording has to be adjusted to the particular BDS proposal and to the university.

Thus, any Israel-specific BDS proposal should be amended as follows:

1. “Following the last WHEREAS, the following should be added:

WHEREAS, human rights standards are universal and should be respected by all nations, irrespective of race, religion or ethnicity

AND WHEREAS, a divestment resolution aimed solely at boycotting persons, companies and organizations based upon their relationship to the Jewish state or activities by the Jewish state while not divesting from other persons, companies and organizations based upon their relationship with states with worse human rights records than the Jewish state is liable to be perceived as unacceptable bigotry and create an atmosphere in which Jewish persons are judged adversely by a standard that is not universally applied

2. Following the last RESOLVED, the following should be added:

THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that all the above steps taken adverse to any person, company and organization due to that person's, company's or organization's activities or relationship with activities in Israel or areas administered by Israel, should also be taken by all named University and University-affiliated bodies toward any person, company and organization with activities or relationships in the countries or areas administered by those countries listed in the annual human rights ranking of independent countries of Freedom House as having worse human rights records than Israel.

As of 2015, the countries listed as having a worse human rights record than Israel are: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (Kinshasa), Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, East Timor, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Gabon, The Gambia, Georgia, Greece, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Papau New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Samoa, Sao Tome and Principe, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Africa, South Korea, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Suriname, Swaziland, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.”

In my view, even if this excellent proposal is useful only for the sake of argument and for the sake of exposing Jew-haters and hypocrites, it is worth trying. More: I hope that advocates actually adopt this as a measure to be voted upon, again and again.

Perhaps it will stay Amalek’s hand.
