Although they visually depicted it, they failed to connect the dots. Where else could Israel attack but where the #terror tunnels and #weapons caches exist--#undermosques, schools, private homes, #hospitals, and UN schools--sites clearly displayed in videos and photographs. @Phyllischesler #Heroes All As of last night, 162 #Israeli soldiers--precious souls one and all--heroically fell in #battle. They will be enshrined in both history and memory. Oh, they were so very #young! I am about sixty years older that many of them and thousands of miles away. How many #universes have we lost? How many future children and grandchildren will never be born? The loss is incalculable. Their average age was only 26. One hundred and eighteen #precioussouls were under 30; 83 were under 25. The youngest was 19, the oldest, 53. Today, the number of fallen is 165 and counting. I stare at their names, their ranks, their #beautiful faces, and try to imagine their lives--in all the cities of the Land, lives cut so short. I salute them, weep for them, and will always remember them.
