A close friend noted that I've been writing incessantly about the Jews; that my readers were now smaller, perhaps highly partisan. But the war against us just keeps on keeping on. Today, something very strange happened. An editor and friend sent me videos of a huge mob of pro-Palestine activists "occupying" Grand Central Station and mobbing the nearby streets. The Jerusalem Post, YouTube, and Al Jazeera covered it; videos were up at YouTube dated 4/8/25, but I could not find mention of it anywhere else. Not at JNS, not at the NY Post, not at NYT, not at FOX.

Passing strange. Was it all fake? But if true, why was it not covered? Any ideas?

I badly needed a break from it all, the wars, the Middle East, Israel, the Jews, the stock exchange, those who are both violent and deranged, from all the crimes, from the exceedingly Bad Behavior everywhere, the maddened mobs marching for Hamas in the streets of my city--and so I decided to post something I wrote four years ago about an extraordinary French opera singer: Natalie Dessay. Alas, too soon, she's already retired, but when she appeared as Lucia at the Met in Manhattan, in the Mad Scene, you could hear the proverbial pin drop; the air itself stood still; time moved not--there was only the diva and the moment.
